The GBR 470 Nationals – sponsored by JDX Consulting was back in Weymouth for another year.

50 sailors travelled from all over the UK to compete in a revived 470 fleet made up of a mix of seasoned & new 470 sailors which included Olympic medalists, 29er, 420 & laser world & European medalist, current British sailing team members and 420/470 class coaches. The GBR class is leading the charge in promoting the 2024 Olympic decision to change the 470 into a mixed class.

JDX was proud to sponsor the event and provide eco friendly bibs for the race in an effort to reduce plastic waste caused by boat stickers.

We’re proud to support events that provide such fantastic opportunities for athletes to compete at any level. Sport and competition is at the heart of JDX; we believe that the transferable skills learnt through sport are vital, and we take every opportunity to encourage participation in team sport wherever possible.
